Confidentiality Policy

Transliving International operates a confidentiality policy in conjunction with a GDPR policy. Staff and members should abide by the confidentiality policy. We request that others who attend our events and interact with the group also comply.
- Staff, members and others should not disclose details of any other person who has participated in the group unless they have the express permission of that person(s) to do so.
- The disclosure includes any information that may identify an individual (including names, descriptions, personal information and photographs).
- Disclosure includes involvement in the group, attendance at an event, and personal information shared in person, writing, telephone, or social media.
- Disclosure excludes information freely available in the public domain (such as published within the Transliving Magazine or on public sections of the website).
- The disclosure of information excludes circumstances where there is a legal obligation to do so or for the purposes of protecting life or property. In these instances, the disclosure should only be to the appropriate authorities and only to the degree necessary to fulfil these obligations.
If Transliving contacts you we will only do so by a method(s) you have previously approved. If we write (or send you an item) we will enclose it in plain packaging which does not identify Transliving as the sender.
