Miss Transliving Diamond Girl 2024 Winners Story

Melony

Melony is a Covid girl.

Melony is a Covid girl. She never thought she’d see the light of day until one day during lockdown she built up the courage to tell her wonderful wife. She never thought she’d have her own dresses. She never thought she’d have her own shoes, her own makeup, her own wigs. And she never thought she’d be able to go outside as a woman.

Like many transvestites she’d been living on the fringe, totally hidden from everyone. Of course, she longed for more but it was never an option. The arrival of the internet opened her eyes to just how diverse the world of ‘trans’ is. So colourful and so exciting. But in many ways, it only made it worse knowing that there was so much colour out there, but only black and white in her world.

But one wonderful day that changed. Her wife said ‘that’s OK with me’ when Melony first told her. Four simple words, spoken by an amazing wife that opened a door so wide and so inviting that Melony hasn’t looked back since. She’s shopped for clothes and all of the wonderful feminine accessories, unlike her male alter ego who struggles to buy a new shirt. Ebay has been a life saver. So much choice and so affordable.

Full of fear she decided that if she was going, she would go as a girl and be that girl all weekend.

Then there is the outside! So scary and so unnerving for a first-time transvestite. She scoured the internet for events and she found Dumbleton run by Roses Repartee. Full of fear she decided that if she was going, she would go as a girl and be that girl all weekend. So that’s what she and her gorgeous wife did. Dressed to the nines, with a lookout on the drive, she got into the car and drove for one hour and a half to the event. What if the car breaks down, what if there is an accident. Fear and utter excitement all rolled into one. And then they were there, with all the other ‘girls’. As normal and easy as anything. She had an amazing time and danced the night away with new friends. She even won the’ Miss Rose’ Title.

One event was never going to be enough and that’s when she found Transliving

She went to the December 2023 Bournemouth event with her wife and again met some wonderful new friends. What a great Christmas Party atmosphere. There was one more thing that she’d never done – been outside, in the day, dressed. But that all changed on the Saturday when she plucked up enough nerve. What a wonderful experience it was though. A daytime walk through the parks and markets of a wonderful seaside town. So good she even went out again that evening.

We both enjoyed the Transliving event so much that we booked for Eastbourne this spring. Again, a wonderful time was had including daytime walks and shopping. The icing on the cake was being picked to be Miss Diamond though. You couldn’t have made this girl any happier.

See you at Eastbourne in the Autumn.
